You need to buy drinking water. The household
water is rainwater collected off the roof and stored in the large tank
behind the house. No, it is not a swimming pool. We have a
five-gallon jug that
you can fill (Keep the blue tops in the drawer in the Kitchen next to the
refrigerator). There are two places where you can fill your water jug for
free. One is just before Pahoa at the 9-mile marker on Highway 130. It is
on the left side as you are driving to the house and is a new facility, with
several places to fill water jugs. The second one is down by Kalapana.
When the roads split there is a left turn that takes you back towards
Pahoa. The faucet is located after you make the left turn towards Pahoa.
v
The dump is located in Pahoa. We will give you directions.
Please haul your trash.
v
We
will clean the house when you leave. Charges will
depend on how much cleaning you chose to do. We will let you know how much
the charges are. |
